Brain Injury - The Silent Epidemic

Typical Head/Brain Injury Deficits

Every year in British Columbia, 6000 people  sustain traumatic brain injury (TBI) and 6000 sustain acquired brain injury.

Brain injury affects each person differently, as each injury is very unique. But whatever the case, the road of recovery is a lifelong challenge as lives are changed forever.

Family and friends play a vital role in providing support, but the stresses and challenges can be overwhelming.

The Comox Valley Head Injury Society provides support, education and advocacy for brain injury survivors, their families and caregivers.
