Cantiamo Chamber Ensemble is an auditioned youth choir based in the Comox Valley, a region of three communities on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The singers come from all walks of life and are united by a desire to work together to create excellent choral music.

Comox Valley Concert Band
The Comox Valley Concert Band, which has been in continuous operation for over 50 years, has a mix of young and mature musicians. The Band plays a variety of music which it performs at two concerts per year. The Band also plays on November 11th at the Legion in Cumberland, in June for the Filberg Heritage Lodge Sunday Sounds, and at the July 1st celebrations at Lewis Park in Courtenay. The Band meets every Tuesday throughout the school year (September to June) at Mark Isfeld High School on Lerwick Road. The Band meets for rehearsal from 7:30 – 9:30 PM under the direction of their musical director, Patrick Hoenman. This is a very well established community band and new members are always welcome. If you are interested in playing or supporting the band please contact one of the following or any band member.

Comox Valley Songwriters Circle
The Comox Valley Songwriters Circle was started by Helen Austin on 1st June 2005. After going to the Nanaimo Songwriters Circle for a couple of years, and enjoying it immensely, Helen knew that there was more than enough talent in the Comox Valley to have their own circle.

Comox Valley Youth Music Camp
CYMC program is designed for string, woodwind, brass, and percussion students ages 13-22. All string students and selected wind, brass and percussion students will rehearse alongside faculty members in the CYMC Festival Orchestra with performances taking place at the end of each week. One of the most exciting summer theatre programs in North America, CYMC Musical Theatre exists to bring a professional musical theatre creation and development experience right to the doorstep of aspiring triple theatre performers.

Courtenay Legion Pipe Band
The Courtenay Legion Pipe Band provides members of the community of Courtenay and surrounding areas opportunities to learn and play the great highland bagpipes and drums for the love of the music while acting as ambassadors of goodwill for the Royal Canadian Legion and the community of Courtenay; strives for excellence in playing bagpipe and drum music while encouraging, teaching and developing the skills of the players in a supportive environment. Although the band may choose to compete from time to time in highland games, the main focus of the band is to provide quality public performances and share the passion for the music with the community.

Welcome to the Cumberland Village Works… a vision, a beginning and a vehicle for the burgeoning and bursting cultural community of the Village of Cumberland. In September of 2005 we invited 2000 people to our 'front yard' for The Cumberland Village Works Festival, a wonderful celebration of music, culture and community. It would appear that this was only a beginning.
Established in 1982, the Hornby Festival has grown into an acclaimed 10 day event. Our programming includes classical, jazz, world beat and traditional genres of music, modern dance, childrens' programming, theatre and spoken word. Holds an annual Comox Valley Dixieland Jazz Festival. In the past has featured The Desperation Jazz Band from the Comox Valley, The Red Beans & Rice Jazz Band from Toronto, and The Delta Band from Sidney, BC.
The Strathcona Symphony Orchestra is a unique regional orchestra which draws musicians of all ages from the communities of Campbell River, the Comox Valley and surrounding islands. We are dedicated to the development of a year round orchestra to enrich our communities with a wide variety of classical and contemporary music that spans the centuries and appeals to people of all ages.
